How many words can one translator translate in one day?
While a translator working with hard copy may be set on 1800 words a day, on average, a professional translator can translate between 2000 and 3000 words per day, working at a comfortable speed, and using electronic formats as well as a suitable translation memory.
You will need certified translation in most cases when you present your documents to provincial and federal institutions, such as Immigration, Refugees and Immigration Canada (IRCC), the Ministry of Transportation (driver's license), educational institutions such as colleges and universities, insurance companies, and so forth.
Some organizations require the translation to be performed by a certified translator, who is a member in good standing of a professional translators' association.
There are different types of certified translations, and BG Communications International will be pleased to advise what specifically you need in your case. Email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
