Reviewing the Laws

At BG, we recognize the importance of delivering high-quality translations to all our clients. Legal translations are only performed by translators with a strong background in the field. These translators have an in-depth understanding of the legal jargon and the legal systems in various countries. They are experts in technically complex terminology and can instantly recognize the linguistic nuances to provide an accurate translation.

Since our very first year, we have worked with law firms, judicial institutions and individuals to provide specialized legal translations. Aware that an error in legal documents is extremely serious, we make sure to create reliable and accurate translations, rigorously processed under the legal framework of each country.

Our translators can swiftly provide a precise translation of your source documents, including contracts, merger & acquisition documents, and insurance agreements and policies, to name but a few.

BG Legal - Certainty and Rigor

BG Communications helps Canadians' access to justice

Back in 2013, BG Communications entered into a partnership with CanLII, Canada’s foremost resource of freely available legal information in order to help access to the law for all Canadians.

CanLII, a non-profit organization overseen by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, makes Canadian law accessible for free on the Internet. Its website, http://www.CanLII.org, provides access to court judgments, tribunal decisions, statutes and regulations from all Canadian jurisdictions. CanLII publishes court rulings in the language in which they are received, so in most circumstances that means that when the court does not provide a translation, none is available to the general public.

In 2013, the translation of leading selected legal judgments on the CanLII website was entrusted to BG Communications. According to BG President Maryse Benhoff, “we are very proud to have the privilege to serve the legal community across Canada. Our company has come full circle from our humble beginnings in serving the legal field in Quebec to now serving the legal community across Canada.”

Legal interpreting

Remote and in-person

Interpreting involves far more than speaking two languages fluently. The interpreter must also communicate the style and tone of the speaker while taking into account differences in culture, dialect, and setting. The listeners should hear the interpreted message as if it had been originally spoken in their own language. Interpreters, often confused with translators, work with the spoken word, converting speech from a source language into a target language. BG Communications International can advise you on the optimal type of interpreting required for your event.
