BG Communications, a multilingual translation and localization firm established over 25 years ago, is currently looking for freelance translators.

Requirements
​
-
Bachelor’s degree in Translation
-
At least two (2) years of translation experience in a supervised environment
-
Proficiency with translation tools (Trados, MemoQ, or other CAT tool)
-
Conscientiousness
-
Ability to make decisions regarding linguistic issues
-
High degree of efficiency, autonomy, and rigour
-
Team spirit and good interpersonal skills
-
Ability to manage tight deadlines
-
Approximate yield of 10,000 translated words per week
-
Perfect command of French and excellent understanding of English
-
Strong writing and research skills
-
Extremely high attention to detail
-
Revision experience, an asset
-
Reliability Status (Public Works and Government Services Canada), an asset
-
Ideally, certification by a recognized language professional order or plans to obtain such certification
