Senior English Reviser (freelance)
BG Communications, a multilingual translation and localization firm established over 25 years ago, is currently looking to fill a permanent full-time freelance Reviser position (37.5 hours per week).
Requirements

Undergraduate or graduate degree in translation and at least five (5) years of relevant experience in revision, from French to English

Ability to revise at least 800 words per hour

Proficiency with translation tools (Trados, MemoQ, or other CAT tool)

Conscientiousness

Ability to make decisions regarding linguistic issues

High degree of efficiency, autonomy, and, rigour

Team spirit and dynamic personality

Ability to manage tight deadlines

Perfect command of English and excellent understanding of French

Strong writing and research skills

Reliability Status (Public Works and Government Services Canada), an asset

Ideally, certification by a recognized language professional order or plans to obtain such certification
